    Sports Questions

Is there even a remote possibility that the LPD will break the 32 year state title basketball drought that we are mired in?

Will the Division 2 Region D football champion this year be able to stay within 2 TDs of the opposition upstate this year?

Will the Raiders after rolling through a weak region FINALLY win the state title?

Not being a smart-aleck-looking for honest answers folks. What do you all think?

    Re: Sports Questions

    Yes...there's always "a chance"

No...there's gonna end up being another Mike Vick up there on the Team that the Region D champ will play that will run and pass all over them.

No...sorry, I would love to see it. I've actually been pulling for Burton all year. But nah...

    Re: Sports Questions

When did Burton become a D2 team?

I think Burton has a good shot. They were in the game last year and thats the first step towards winning. The year before, they were nowhere even close.

    Re: Sports Questions

Rural Retreat is pretty good, but their defense must be a little suspect.

    1. I don't see why not.
    2. No. Alot of teams up north double in size compared to your D2 and D1 schools here. Plus it's different style of play.
    3. IMO no. If D3 schools keeping dropping down to D2 and D1 no one here will see a state title. Unless someone lucks up. But burton is looking pretty good this year. Better then last years team IMO. Also Burton has the numbers to help up there.

    Definately, no.
    Definately, no.
    Maybe, but not likely.
